The Lab of Physical Logic
Where digital game engines meet the raw friction of physical space. Explore our collection of immersive tech research and cross-industry projects bridging the Wide Harbor Line.
The Living Library
In our most ambitious Unreal Engine integration, we synchronized a digital game state with industrial lighting protocols (DMX) to create a cinematic quest experience.
Unreal Engine 5.3 -> Art-Net/DMX Bridge
Zero-latency lighting synchronization across 4,000 sq ft.
By treating the physical space as a giant dynamic light actor within the engine, we removed the need for manual preset cues, allowing the "Game Master" to alter the atmosphere in real-time based on player progress.
SENSORY.MAP_042
Physicalizing the Haptic Threshold.
Calibration accuracy within 5 grams for pressure-sensitive floor plates.
Gravity-Sync Puzzles
We engineered a puzzle system where players must balance real-world weights—iron artifacts and heavy stone blocks—to match a digital interface projected on the wall. This required the translation of digital UI "weight" states into high-reliability PLC hardware signals.
- [01] Weight-sensitive pressure plates utilizing load cell arrays.
- [02] Haptic feedback motors providing "stutter" vibration when nearing failure state.
- [03] Natural tutorials: Lighting cues that intensity as weight approaches the target zone.
Translating Mechanics
